Mrs. Sasidevi Jaladeepan, assumed duties as the new Registrar General at the Registrar Generals' Department on 2025/08/25. Mrs. Sasidevi Jaladeepan goes down in history as the first female Registrar General of the Registrar Generals' Department, which has a history of over 160 years.
Before the new appointment, Mrs. Sasidevi Jaladeepan served as the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government.
