Bim Saviya Program

Bim Saviya Program (Title Registration) is introduced to provide stronger and clear Land ownership with the view of improving Land Utilization and development and also to avoid unnecessary disputes due to land ownership or boundaries.

This Bim Saviya Program is conducted by the Ministry of Lands and other 4 Departments are co-operated with same.

  • Minimize the Land disputes, Fraud and irregularities

Responsibilities of Title Branch

  • Preparation and implementation of Regulations and Policies related to the Registration of titles
  • Providing data related to Title registration to Land Ministry
  • Maintaining the insurance fund

Post Transactions

Following documents should be provided for a post transaction related to Title certificate

  • Original of the Title Certificate
  • Instrument prepared According to the Gazette notice
  • Receipt of stamp Duty Payment
  • Application for obtaining a new Title certificate, If related to instrument of Transfer
  • Receipt of Registration Fees
